Well, folks: he’s done it!!!!!!!!
Kidney donor and Kemp Harvey Kemp CGA and partner, Terry Craig, completed the Super Triathlon World Championships in Grand Coulee, Washington this weekend.
His overall time was 17:58:34, with a 5-kilometre swim of 2:08:45, a 200-kilometre bike of 8:23:12 and a 50-kilometre run of 7:10:09. He finished one minute and 26 seconds before the cutoff.
He was in the Male 40 to 49 division, in which he placed third. He was 13th among males and 15th overall.
Terry was awarded Most Inspirational Participant in the race, which began on the morning of Saturday, September 17, 2011.
Terry was very happy to be able to complete and finish the race. His knee was giving him some challenges, especially in the run portion, but he kept on keeping on until he crossed the finish line.
Terry’s amazing wife – and his sole inspiration for participating in the race – Laura, was there for him throughout the whole journey. She was there to embrace him as he crossed the finish line on the weekend of their 6th wedding anniversary.
